Wash your brushes and applicators

Wash your brushes and applicators
This is a conversation I start at least twice a year, and it’s for women and it’s about make-up; not about how organic, or where it’s tested or if it has lead – those are topics for other forums… this is about the brushes and sponges and applicators. Most of them last quite long and are good value for money. We handle them every day and sometimes we put one away for a season, or find a good brush in a spring-clean. Make up applicators don’t expire and often don’t die. As a result they can end up as breeding grounds for all kinds of germs, bacteria and even parasites. So this little rant is a reminder to every woman everywhere… wash your brushes and applicators. Wash them regularly – make a routine around this. It’s an important part of overall skin health.'
